Job Summary TheProvider Relations Youth Apprentice will see and experience thecredentialing process for health care providers from initial hire, tofirst day at orientation, as well as how the workload ebbs and flowsthroughout the year. They will learn how the many internal and externaldepartments work together to onboard a new health care provider andmarket them to the community. This role will also be involved in somedata clean-up projects to further enhance our system as the source oftruth. What you will do Learn to navigate and help maintaincredentialing database. Aid with clinical and payor credentialing andcredential maintenance. Maintain expired or expiring credentials such asDEA certificates, state licenses, malpractice certificates, and boardscertificates. Help load primary source verifications (PSV) forcredentialing files. Scanning and filing to set up and take down formonthly Credentialing Committee meetings. Education Qualifications Highschool student in the junior or senior grade level. Participating in theYouth Apprenticeship program in accordance with school criteria.Required Skills and Abilities Demonstrates an eagerness to continuouslyacquire new knowledge and skills, fostering adaptability and growth indynamic environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentFosters work relationships through excellent interpersonal skill andbehaviors. Possess skills to effectively problem solve.
