Job Summary The Youth Apprentice PSR (PatientService Representative) role has the opportunity to be the patient'sfirst contact and see all front-end operations. In this position youwill learn about healthcare customer service, billing, and scheduling.You will also get the opportunity to work closely with other healthcareroles. This position is under the supervision of leading PSRs. What youwill do Coordinate communication between patients, family members,medical staff, providers, and administrative staff-via phone, in person,or through MyPrevea. Learn and then conduct the process of schedulingand confirming patient appointments. Obtain and confirm accuratedemographic and insurance/coverage information. Receive and routemedical inquiries, complaints, and messages to appropriate staff. Learnto assist patient or caller with financial questions regarding policies,insurances, payments, or other financial needs. Appropriately collectrequired payments, including co-payments, outstanding balances, andpayments due prior to services being rendered in accordance with Preveapolicies and procedures. Opportunity to work closely with otherhealthcare positions and departments. Education Qualifications Highschool student in the grade level junior or senior.
