To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTube Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan facility operations. u2022 Plans production to ensure customer deadlines are met. Prepare operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. u2022 Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and delivery problems. u2022 Assists in directing plant activities to achieve optimum utilization of machinery and equipment, and maximum efficiency of operations. u2022 Evaluates employee performance, recommends candidates for hire, promotion, demotion, transfer or termination. u2022 Assists in controlling and reducing scrap. Controls the financial spending of all departments. u2022 Recommends capital improvements to plant which result directly in improved safety conditions, improved quality of finished product, resulting in value added, improved efficiency, or reduction of plant variable or fixed operations costs. u2022 Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes to ensure compliance with standards. u2022 Reviews the safety performance and training programs for the facility. Takes an active role in the plantu2019s safety programs and goals. u2022 Responsible for monitoring and ensuring positive overall morale of the facility. u2022 Keeps informed of technical and management developments to assure continued personal growth and to coach employees toward optimum performance. u2022 May be assigned special projects by the Plant Manager. Education/Experience Required u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent; eight to ten years related experience or the combined equivalent.
