Position Summary A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide highu2011quality technical and customer support across hospital and clinical environments. This individual will play an important role in supporting frontline caregivers by ensuring that endu2011user technologies remain reliable, functional, and wellu2011maintained. Key Responsibilities + Deliver onsite desktop support within hospital and clinical environments. + Troubleshoot Windows desktop hardware and software issues for clinical and administrative staff. + Image, deploy, and reboot PCs; support device preparation and equipment lifecycle tasks. + Program communication devices (e.g., pagers) and manage IT inventory. + Assist with ticket resolution and contribute to reducing existing backlogs. + Work independently while following established processes, documentation standards, and workflow guidelines. + Adapt effectively to process updates and perform under urgent or highu2011pressure situations when needed. Required Qualifications + 1u20132 years of professional IT experience in roles such as Service Desk, Help Desk, or Desktop Support. + 3u20135 years of professional customer service experience, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proven ability to troubleshoot desktop and endu2011user technology issues. + Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain professionalism in sensitive hospital settings. + Strong customer service skills, with the ability to support caregivers and work respectfully around patients. Preferred Qualifications + Experience within a healthcare, hospital, or regulated environment. + Ability to stay organized, multitask, and maintain a u201chustle mentalityu201d to meet high expectations. + Personal vehicle for local site travel (mileage reimbursed from warehouse to healthcare locations). Work Environment + Hospital and clinical facilities with a strong emphasis on professionalism and patient sensitivity. + Warehouse environment for imaging, staging, and deployment tasks. + Requires comfort working under tight timelines and occasional highu2011urgency situations. + Must be adaptable and open to evolving processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
