Work closely with Category Management departments and category managers to understand strategic priorities and prepare market-specific sales/promo plans accordingly. RESPONSIBILITIES - Interface with category managers and department to understand priorities - Provide guidance to Category Management team in division-specific planning process and adjustments to plans - Prepare division sales plans per category manager guidance, flag if modifications are beyond guardrails - Develop market-ready display plans based on division nuances and category management prioritization - Re-balance plan across divisions as needed - Review ads for respective divisions to ensure accuracy and market-relevance - Serve as the primary point of contact for division merchandisers to gather feedback and inform support inspired selling - Manage and execute retail price changes in Fresh departments - Generate weekly Fresh department projections and classifieds; review with category managers and promo planning team to ensure financial sales and profit goals are achieved as feasible - Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports - Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Any category management experience 2+ years of merchandising, store leadership or operations experience at a division or corporate level Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational and multitasking skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Strong attention to detail Excellent oral/written communication skills Desired Bachelors Degree
