Principal Program ManagerJob LocationsUS-OH-DaytonID2026-7523CategoryProgram ManagementTypeFull TimeBiweekly Hours80Location : NameWright Patterson AFBPosition SummaryOdyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Program Manager, supporting the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Program AFLCMC/WIS Asymmetric Warfare Division. This program focuses on advancing, sustaining, and modernizing the Air Force's small UAS portfolio to meet evolving operational needs across multiple mission sets.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:Provide acquisition program management support across system life cycles.Manage resources and personnel to meet task objectives.Support development of risk management plans and mitigation strategies.Review and analyze contractor production changes, ECPs, and CCPs; support CCB activities.Conduct issue analysis, identify program impacts, and recommend resolutions.Develop and maintain integrated program schedules (IMP/IMS) and perform schedule risk assessments.Support milestone planning, documentation, and program strategy analyses.Prepare staff packages, data inputs, and coordinated milestone documents.Participate in process improvement activities, IPTs, and PIWGs.Translate user requirements (CDD, CPD, CONOPS) into acquisition and RFP documentation.Develop program inputs for PWSs, CDRLs, and other acquisition artifacts.Use MS Project and tools such as CCaRS, SMART, and AF/SOF portals to produce program materials.Plan, facilitate, and support meetings, reviews, and offsites; record action items and prepare briefings.Maintain program documentation for cost, schedule, performance, risk, and status.Support PMRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMs, TPWGs, TRRs, and related events.Coordinate agendas, materials, and action items with Government, contractors, and external agencies.Assist with preparing materials for staff meetings and senior leadership reviews.Support development of CPAR inputs for weapon system contracts.Apply DoD, USAF, and USSOCOM acquisition policies, including familiarity with USSOCOM Directive 701 and ACAT ID programs.QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Top SecretEducation:Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD.OR bachelor's degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD.OR, 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 20 years of which must be in the DoD.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Project and integrated scheduling tools (IMP/IMS).Experience conducting Schedule Risk Assessments using Monte Carlo-based software.Ability to review and analyze Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Contract Change Proposals (CCPs).Skilled in using CCaRS, SMART, and AF/SOF portals for data analysis and terpersonal SkillsStrong communication skills for coordinating with Government, contractors, and crossfunctional teams.Excellent organizational abilities to manage documentation, schedules, and action items.Effective problemsolving and analytical thinking in fastpaced program environments.Collaborative mindset with the ability to support and contribute within IPTs and working groups.Additional InformationLocation
