You will be part of our GM Goodwrench Flying Ace Team . We are experienced GM owner operators with one partner who has 25 years doing GM SPO warranty audits and working inside service departments as a line mechanic . This one partner will be working with you inside the service department daily . We know the toxic work environment inside dealership service departments locally . Every human deserves a living wage without payday surprises or stress . Our paydays will be weekly with no week in the hole . We want quality no matter how much time it takes . We want team participation in jobs where nobody gets hurt . If you need another technicians help , ask , your both being paid by the hour . We want Video inspections sent to all customers so that we build trust . We will do a YouTube channel inside our service department focused only on the jobs that our Flying Aces perform . As the channel makes money , everyone gets an equal cut of that money . Customers love seeing videos that are service related . We want a 5 day work week of 12 hour days . This puts each technician at overtime pay . All master technicians and line technicians will have their choice of the 5 days that they want to work . Saturday will be Quick lube , tire rotation , brakes , and tire sales days only . There will be one line technician supervising and checking behind these oil change technicians every Saturday . Lube technicians will work in groups of two just like Walmart does . 4 eyes are better than 2 . Every quick lube vehicle will get a multi point inspection done and looked over be a line technician. Every technician will be supplied a tough case lap top that will be yours to keep after a year of employment however it must come to work with you every work day . These laptops will be replaced every year. GM interfaces will be checked into and out of the parts department as needed . Excellent shop based Internet , Air conditioning, and gas heat will be a staple inside our shop . It will be up to you to run vehicles at length outside while using exhaust hoses inside . All vehicles will be diagnosed and test driven by one management employee when completed . GM Service and Part Organization classes will be part of your lap top ownership and you will be expected to further your GM education. The dealership will pay a bonus to every Flying Aces who completes a class . We want and encourage Lube Technicians to become GM Master Technicians through these classes online . You can take these classes anytime . We want a transmission only technician on our Flying Ace Team so that we can tear down transmissions to the point of failure while building our own line of ready to install transmissions for inventory. Every Flying Aces will get a weeks paid vacation based on your average pay , 3 paid sick days / doctor visit days a year , and a retirement , health insurance , Aflac package . We expect the following . No offensive language that customers will hear , or our videos will record . If your a cusser this is not the place for you . Daily showers and clean personal presentation . Our Flying Aces will interact with customers. The shop will be kept clean and safe at all times . Our shop will not be a shop with leaking oil catch cans or fluid puddles . Our waste oil drop zone area will also be kept clean by the lube techs . Taking pride will be important to be part of our Flying Ace Team .
