Irrigation Technician

Irrigation Technician (Speonk, NY) (3 positions available) Perform, assist, and maintain all aspects of new irrigation installations including digging trenches, laying pipes, and installing sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers. Inspect and test irrigation systems to ensure proper operation and diagnose issues such as leaks, clogs, or pressure problems. Replace or repair damaged or malfunctioning irrigation components. Operate hand and power tools necessary for irrigation work. Maintain accurate records of completed repairs and system inspections. Follow safety procedures and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition. Required: 3 months of experience as an Irrigation Technician. Hours: Mon to Fri from 6:45am to 3:00pm (1 hour of unpaid lunch), Sat from 10:00am to 1:45pm. Transportation provided to/from worksites by employer. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Wage: $45,510.00/yr.
