The role is approximately 90% technical and 10% administrative leadership.What Youll DoLeadership & OperationsAssist with staffing coordination to ensure appropriate coverage based on patient and client needs.Partner with hospital departments to streamline workflow and improve service delivery.Support onboarding, training, and mentorship for new and existing team members.Participate in performance reviews, monthly one-on-one meetings, and day-to-day problem-solving.Help maintain equipment and ensure the team has the tools needed to provide high-quality care.Support the Clinical Supervisor with operational oversight while maintaining a strong presence on the floor.Clinical ResponsibilitiesTriage and support General Practice patients, ensuring compassionate and efficient care throughout their visit.Administer vaccines and perform phlebotomy and cytology sample collection and processing.Assist veterinarians with dentistry procedures, spays, neuters, and other surgical or medical treatments.Monitor anesthesia and ensure safe, attentive patient care during procedures.Handle laboratory samples and utilize diagnostic tools such as imaging and laboratory equipment to support patient assessment.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in Veterinary General Practice or a related clinical settingStrong leadership and communication skills with a team-focused mindsetProfessional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanorAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environmentsPassion for veterinary medicine and commitment to exceptional patient careSupervisory experience preferredFluent in English (speaking and reading required)Why Bulger?Bulger Veterinary Hospital is a comprehensive, multi‑specialty hospital offering GP, 24‑hour Emergency Services, and a full range of specialty departments including Ophthalmology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Anesthesia, Exotics, and Cardiology.Youll have access to:Advanced technology (CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, video scoping, MIS, ophthalmic laser surgery, EMG, echo, and more)A strong learning environment with training programs, CE opportunities, mentorship, and clear career pathways (including ER & Specialty)A supportive, knowledgeable team of technicians, assistants, doctors, and specialistsFor more information about our hospital, please visit
