Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension St. John is looking for a PRN APPfor our CV Surgery.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. John to provide medical services to patients.Responsibilities:Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Orthopedic Physician Assistant preferred.Education:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
