Job Title: Business Intelligence Architect / BI EngineerLocation: Metropark, NJ OR Rockefeller Center, New York City, NY (Hybrid) Position Type: ContractOnly W2 Position Overview:We are looking for a senior-level Business Intelligence Architect / BI Engineer with 15+ years of experience in data warehousing, BI, and analytics.The candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions, build advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, and work closely with business users (strong BA mindset required).This is a hands-on, senior technical role with strong exposure to capital markets (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives).Mandatory Technical Skills: Power BI (Dashboards, Paginated Reports, DAX) Snowflake SQL Server Strong SQL (Query Optimization, Performance Tuning) Data Warehousing & ETL OLAP / Dimensional Data Modeling Semantic Modeling Tools (Cube Dev or similar) PBRS (Power BI Report Scheduler) PowerOn Domain Requirement (Very Important):Strong knowledge of: Fixed Income Equities Derivatives Capital Markets environment Key Responsibilities: Design & develop enterprise Data Warehouse and BI solutions Build complex dashboards & reports in Power BI Develop and optimize SQL queries (SQL Server & Snowflake) Handle ETL processes and data loading Ensure data quality & integrity Work directly with business stakeholders Translate business requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot issues and provide quick resolutions Support full SDLC & project lifecycle Required Experience: 15+ years in BI/Data Warehousing/Analytics 15+ years in relational & multidimensional data modeling Strong capital markets domain knowledge Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills Ability to work in high-pressure financial environment Bachelor’s Degree (CS / IS / Engineering)
