Unit Information: Aventura MC - CT Tech (726) Location: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center Address: 20900 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL, 33180 Floor: Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 18 • Number of Staff - 8 • Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs o Day Shift - Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs o Night Shift - Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume • Patient Ratios - 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient • Type of equipment - ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy • EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • ARRT (CT) & BLS • Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. • RT (T), ASRT • FASRT List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays • Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Best personality Fit: • Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude • Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. • Scrub Color - Navy Blue • Awards/Recognition: • New 1.2 million state of the art computed tomography scanner just added • Certified comprehensive Stroke Center, American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award Imaging & Radiology - CT Technologist Miami, FL For over 16 years, Medasource has established and maintained relationships that are designed to meet your IT staffing needs.
