Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Visiting Researcher (Scholar) for the Anesthesiology Department within New Jersey Medical School.Candidate studies molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie neuropathic pain/degeneration, with a focus on Alzheimer’s Disease.Among the key duties of the position are the following: Designs/performs experiments related to cellular and molecular pain development, analyzes data, writes manuscripts, presents results. Develops standards, methodologies, and instrumentation for molecular biological experiments. Trains clinical fellows, students. Assists in the writing of grants. Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other related duties as assigned. FLSA Exempt Grade 99S Salary Details A maximum of $40,000 is budgeted for this position. Minimum Salary 25,000 Mid Range Salary 125,000 Maximum Salary 250,000 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
