Description We are looking for a dynamic Outreach Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will focus on fostering positive relationships with the community, organizing outreach initiatives, and driving engagement through media and public relations efforts. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your career while contributing to the success of a forward-thinking organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders. u2022 Plan and execute outreach events such as job fairs and career days, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. u2022 Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other public relations materials to promote organizational initiatives. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to meet set quotas and achieve outreach goals. u2022 Utilize CRM tools to track outreach activities and maintain accurate records of community engagement. u2022 Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations during outreach events and campaigns. u2022 Reimburse mileage and parking expenses for travel associated with outreach activities. u2022 Conduct intake interviews with prospective students or clients to better understand their needs and align them with organizational offerings. u2022 Contribute to sales-oriented tasks by applying knowledge of field sales and e-commerce practices. u2022 Monitor and analyze the success of outreach strategies, recommending improvements when necessary. Requirements u2022 At least 1 year of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. u2022 Proficiency in CRM software and other tools for tracking and reporting outreach activities. u2022 Experience organizing events and managing their logistical requirements. u2022 Knowledge of sales processes, including field sales, e-commerce sales, and sales campaigns. u2022 Ability to work independently while meeting quotas and deadlines. u2022 Administrative experience, particularly in higher education or community relations, is preferred. u2022 Flexibility to work 40 hours per week on-site, with occasional adjustments to start times.
