The Site Director will play a pivotal role in advancing minimally invasive, image-guided therapies while aligning local strategy with departmental and system-wide goals.Position OverviewThe Clinical Site Director will provideclinical, operational, and strategic leadershipfor interventional radiology services at Emory Hillandale Hospital.This role includes:Oversight of daily IR clinical operations and physician coverageDevelopment and expansion of service lines aligned with community needsPartnership with hospital leadership on quality, safety, and financial performanceMentorshipand professional development of IR faculty and staffStrengthening referral relationships and multidisciplinary collaborationAlignment of site operations with departmental standards and academic missionThe Site Director will collaborate closely with Division and Department leadership to ensure excellence in patient care, quality metrics, compliance, and growth initiatives.Clinical ScopeInterventional radiology services at Emory Hillandale include a broad range of image-guided procedures such as:Peripheral and central vascular interventionsDialysis access managementVenous thromboembolic interventionsImage-guided biopsies and drainagesOncology-related interventionsWomen’s health procedures (including embolization therapies)Musculoskeletal intervention such as vertebral augmentation and bone ablationThe Site Director will evaluate opportunities to expand outpatient and ambulatory IR services to meet evolving community demand. The Site Director will spend approximately 25% of their clinical time at other Emory Healthcare sites including EUH, EJCH, ESJH, EUHM/WEM, EDH and Grady.Leadership ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary IR clinical leader at Emory HillandalePartner with hospital administration on budgeting, capital planning, and resource allocationMonitor quality outcomes, patient experience metrics, and operational efficiencyPromote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountabilityFacilitate integration with other Emory sites to ensure consistency of care deliveryRepresent IR in medical staff and hospital leadership forumsAcademic EngagementAs a faculty member within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, the Clinical Site Director will:Participate in teaching activities with residents and fellows as appropriateContribute to academic initiatives consistent with career goalsEngage in scholarly or quality improvement efforts if desiredFaculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.Minimum QualificationsCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowshipABR board-certified or board-eligibleEligible for unrestricted medical licensure in GeorgiaDemonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations or service line managementCommitment to quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaborationPrior experience in a community hospital setting and program development is preferred.Why Emory HillandaleThis role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow a high-impact IR program within a community hospital that benefits from the depth, infrastructure, and academic rigor of the broader Emory system.Physicians enjoy:System-wide resources and collaborationStrategic leadership engagementA growing and diverse patient populationThe opportunity to build and innovate within a defined siteAdditional DetailsThis position requires in-person clinical presence at Emory Hillandale Hospital.
