This position involves routine dimensional and visual inspection of material and parts coming in and out of Material Control. 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm Training on 1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm for up to 90 daysMaterial Handling Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and set-up material sawsPerform basic preventative maintenance on saw equipmentInspect parts and raw materials with precision and measuring tools.Issue, pull, and stage material for production Organize and cycle count raw materialInspect parts and raw materials with XRF analyzer Process returned materialOperate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift and other moving equipmentEnter production information into ERP system, 1Factory, and spreadsheets in a timely matter.Accurately records and reports hours worked Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when requiredSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and company procedures.Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and function properlyParticipating in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S)Participating in the Operational Excellence Program Complete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentMaterial Handler Position RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 year of experience in data entry and customer service in a manufacturing environmentExperience with an ERP system softwareMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detailOrganizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskrms Company Benefits As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
