The individual in this position collaborates closely with team members and leverages their knowledge to support others, contributing to overall efficiency and operational success.Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas. All warehouse equipment includes, but is not limited to, forklift, clamp truck.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standardsStock all goods in a safe and stable mannerCommunicate pertinent information to the relief at shift changeFollow all safety policies and proceduresMaintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner. Knowledge of 6s is a plusKnow locations and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishersComplete forklift checklistMonitor and record all products returned/receivedCheck the accuracy of finished product count on pallets, product ID, ensure all pallets only have one Port Ticket on them when removing from lines, and accurately complete all required paperworkFill forklift propane tank at the end of the shiftAccurate Cycle counts as designated by the Team LeadersEffective organization and staging of materials to support the accuracy of inventoriesKnowledge of LOTO procedures is a plusQualificationsMinimum of one year of recent forklift experience preferredMinimum of one year sit-down experience requiredClamp attachment operation is a plusMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of mathematicsAbility to communicate orally and in writing (English required, Spanish is a plus)Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervisionWill be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignmentSkills and CompetenciesMathematical Skills: Ability to do simple math equations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and percentages) and able to use a calculatorCommunication Skills: Must be able to read, write & understand basic English and/or Spanish.
