This role is a unique hybrid of serving and bartending, requiring the ability to manage a section of poolside loungers while preparing cocktails. You will remain attentive to guests throughout their visit, ensuring a premium resort atmosphere while adhering to safety and service standards.This is a seasonal, full-time position (Thursday-Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with a high potential to transition into a permanent, year-round role within our food and beverage team at the end of the season.Core ResponsibilitiesActive Service:Greets guests at poolside loungers and cabanas, taking food and drink orders with an upbeat and professional demeanor.Cocktail Preparation:Directly prepares cocktails and other beverages according to hotel recipes, maintaining speed and consistency.Operational Excellence:Completes all outdoor-specific side work, including restocking bar supplies, clearing glassware from the pool deck, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.Financial Integrity:Processes guest checks, ensuring accurate payment and safeguarding company and guest information.Attentiveness:Proactively monitors the pool area to anticipate guest needs, such as water refills or menu recommendations, while working under outdoor weather conditions.Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicableHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredSix months to one year serving experience preferredExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentRead, write and speak English fluentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidaysKnowledge of food and beverage service standardsAbility to stand for long periods of timeMeet minimum age requirement of jurisdictionDavidson Hospitality Group is an award-winning, full-service hospitality management company overseeing hotels, restaurants, dining and entertainment venues across the US.
