We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for a Physical Therapist with a passion for acute care, especially in neuro or ortho trauma. Experience in acute critical care areas of the hospital is beneficial but not necessary. You will encounter many types of diagnoses as you spend time mobilizing patients in the ICU, progressive care units with multiple lines and patients in very critical medical states. Therapists should be able to clinically problem solve complex orthopedic injuries with respect to mobilization, discharge needs and progression from a therapeutic mindset. according to PT scope of practice.Treats patient within the PT scope of practice.Teaches patients how to use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assistive apparati.Provides education to patients, caregivers and associates regarding PT interventions, safety, community resources and outcomes.Recommends appropriate adaptive equipment for ambulation and functional mobility.Coordinates and leads groups.Attends and participates in care planning meetings as assigned.Communicates and collaborates with all customers and interdisciplinary team members.Maintains gym area and
