Hours of Work :Days Of Week :Work Shift :Job Description :Job Purpose:The ER Technician II is responsible for all basic patient care duties and assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. This includes, but is not limited to, therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operation of laboratory equipment, patient discharge and education.Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.Job Requirements:Education:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Licenses and/or Certifications:Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required) or National EMT-P CertificationCurrent Basic Life Support Certification requiredCurrent Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification requiredPediatric Advanced Life Support Certification required within 90 days of hireWork Experience:1 year of work-related experience - preferredMethodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
