Manufacturing Technician - Vadnais Heights, MN Pay Range: $25.00-$35.00 DOE. $1.00 shift differential for the night shift as well as weekend work days. Day Shift: 6am-6pm - Tue, Wed, Sat Sun and Mon, Thu, Fri - two weeks rotating schedule Night Shift: 6pm-6am - Mon, Thu, Fri Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun - two weeks rotating schedule This is a direct hire role with a company specializing in medical technologies, working side by side with more than 100 medical device companies from startups to global giants to bring life-enhancing technologies to market. Job Summary: The Manufacturing Technician II and III supports manufacturing operations through maintaining, problem solving and repairing machines and maintaining spare parts inventories. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot manufacturing machines and equipment to determine root causes and perform repairs with limited instruction from others. Document machine repairs as required by the Quality Management System. Perform moderately complex machine set up and programming. Perform preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment. Perform in-house calibration of equipment. Maintain spare parts inventories, materials, and tools necessary to support manufacturing equipment. Perform moderately complex technical tasks assisting engineers with electronic and mechanical systems. Work consists of tasks that are typically routine Adhere to Quality Management System requirements Ensure equipment safety features are operational and equipment is safe to operate. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Minimum 2 (Mfg Technician II) or 4 (Mfg Technician III) years of experience with injection molding processes OR a two-year vocational school in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar field of stud Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems obtained through work experience or education Communication: Gives and receives technical information requiring some explanation or interpretation Able to work with moderate supervision.
