Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in managing payroll for multi-state operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Process payroll on a weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly basis with precision and timeliness. u2022 Verify and review employee timecards, wage calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings. u2022 Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data and documentation within payroll systems. u2022 Handle new employee setup, terminations, pay rate updates, and direct deposit changes. u2022 Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as company policies. u2022 Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues. u2022 Generate and distribute payroll reports for management and accounting teams. u2022 Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee changes and benefits deductions. u2022 Assist in year-end payroll tasks, including preparation and distribution of W-2 forms. u2022 Support payroll audits by providing accurate and complete documentation. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. u2022 Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations. u2022 Ability to manage payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals. u2022 Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience using Paycor preferred. u2022 Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to resolve payroll issues efficiently and professionally. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with employees and departments.
