Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze new case files to formulate strategic action plans and provide recommendations. u2022 Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural requirements. u2022 Oversee discovery processes, including preparing responses and managing document production. u2022 Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other litigation events, delivering comprehensive updates and reports. u2022 Negotiate settlements effectively and obtain necessary approvals while preparing cases for trial when required. u2022 Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure seamless case management. u2022 Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments. u2022 Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and address inquiries. u2022 Monitor case progress and deadlines to ensure timely execution of all legal tasks. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus. u2022 1-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably insurance defense. u2022 Strong ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. u2022 Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Experience with depositions, drafting motions, and civil litigation processes.
