Description A fast-growing organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist who combines strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams. This is a key role within the finance function, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting while partnering closely with sales, operations, and customer service. The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate thrives in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex AR issues, and can translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for internal teams. Accounts Receivable Specialist Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Management + Manage the end-to-end AR process, including invoice generation, payment posting, and collections. + Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely cash flow. + Resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes in partnership with sales and operations. Analytical Responsibilities + Perform detailed AR analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. + Assist in forecasting and reporting AR metrics, aging reports, and cash flow projections. + Collaborate with finance leadership to analyze customer payment patterns and recommend credit or process adjustments. Cross-Functional Communication + Act as the liaison between finance, sales, operations, and customers to resolve AR-related issues. + Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues to support business decisions. + Partner with internal teams to implement process improvements and enhance customer experience. Process Improvement & Compliance + Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, automate workflows, and strengthen internal controls. + Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. For immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054 Requirements + Associate or Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + 2u20135 years of AR or general accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-department environment. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally. + Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; experience with reporting tools a plus. + Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
