Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Anoka, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee critical financial tasks including managing accounts receivable, processing payments, and ensuring accurate billing practices. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment collection. u2022 Handle commercial collections to ensure timely receipt of outstanding balances. u2022 Process cash applications accurately and efficiently. u2022 Monitor and record cash collections to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies. u2022 Utilize Avalara and other tools to ensure compliance with tax-related financial requirements. u2022 Prepare detailed reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel. u2022 Assist in maintaining organized records for audits and financial reviews. u2022 Provide support in streamlining and improving AR workflows. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. u2022 Strong knowledge of commercial collections processes. u2022 Proficiency in cash applications and cash collection methods. u2022 Familiarity with Avalara and tax compliance procedures. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle financial discrepancies.
