By applying the highest standards of business ethics and a forward-thinking mindset, we believe everything is within our reach u2013 and yours -- as a Lockheed Martin employee. - - - In this role you will perform subcontract program management duties in support of various programs, including: u2022 Manages subordinate team overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. u2022 Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones. u2022 Serve as Supply Chain Program Manager on various program pursuits. u2022 Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution. u2022 Ensure labor budgets are properly phased through program lifecycle. u2022 Responsible for leading and coaching a team of subcontract management professionals through all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution. u2022 Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. u2022 Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. u2022 Leads team composed of subcontract management professionals. Basic Qualifications: To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. u2022 4+ years of professional experience working with suppliers to execute to a baseline on a development program and/or services contracts. u2022 Understanding of and/or experience negotiating and securing funding for complex long-term agreements. u2022 Must be open to occasional travel approximately ~10% to support Program and/or Supplier visits. u2022 You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Please note: _No clearance is required to apply, nor prior to start._ Desired Skills: To be effective, ideally, you should also have: u2022 5+ years of professional experience. u2022 Strong desire to develop and implement strategic initiatives and drive the team to execute. u2022 Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts, and acquisition procedures. u2022 Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types. u2022 In-depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios. u2022 Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines. u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure. u2022 Experienced presenter to Program Management, internal stakeholders, and Customer representative. u2022 Ability to drive actions and results/resolution of contractual/technical issues and successful outcomes through teamwork. u2022 Implement continuous improvement leading to improved team and supplier performance. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal customers and stakeholders. u2022 Strong business acumen with a proven record of successful performance with focus on mission success, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. u2022 Demonstrated skills to drive culture change supporting enterprise initiatives (e.g. digital transformation, shift to
