Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Verona, New Jersey. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in providing accurate and timely tax services to individuals and businesses. The role involves working on-site during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and file individual tax returns, including 1040 forms, ensuring compliance with regulations. u2022 Handle business and corporate tax returns with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Provide bookkeeping services for select clients as part of comprehensive financial support. u2022 Utilize UltraTax software to streamline and enhance tax preparation processes. u2022 Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables. u2022 Prioritize accuracy and thoroughness in all tax-related tasks. u2022 Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses. u2022 Proficiency in preparing individual tax returns, including 1040 forms. u2022 Familiarity with UltraTax software and its functionalities. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently. u2022 Attention to detail to ensure precision in tax preparation. u2022 Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in an environment that values accuracy. u2022 Commitment to hard work and delivering exceptional results.
