We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Machinist to join one of our valued clients' manufacturing teams. $22-$26/ hour Benefits of working with Express: Medical, dental, and vision benefits Weekly paychecks Working with a dedicated & responsive team Monthly referral bonuses & more Responsibilities of the Machinist: interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements Set up and adjust CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and conventional machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to achieve accurate and precise dimensions Perform precision machining tasks to fabricate metal and plastic parts according to specifications Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality output Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and make any required adjustments Maintain and clean machines regularly to ensure their longevity and efficiency Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet production schedules Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to create a secure work environment Qualifications of the Machinist: Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role with hands-on experience in operating CNC and conventional machinery Proficient in reading technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Knowledge of CNC programming and troubleshooting Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and precision measurement instruments Excellent mathematical skills and the ability to make complex calculations Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and precision Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
