Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a remote Pharmacy Technician role for their client . Pay Rate: $ 19.00/hour Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday 11:30 AM u2013 8:00 PM Overtime: Possible overtime on Saturdays if requested Work Type: u2022 Initial 1 week onsite training (side-by-side) u2022 After training: Work from Home with onsite rotation 2u20133 days per month Job Overview The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by assisting physicians, patients, and internal teams with prescription data entry, phone support, and order clarification . This role helps ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently before being dispensed and shipped to patients or physician offices. Key Responsibilities Prescription Processing + Enter prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist review + Maintain strong knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations + Assist pharmacists by entering prescription clarifications into the system + Calculate medication doses according to prescription guidelines Patient & Provider Support + Answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers + Assist with prescription-related inquiries and triage calls to appropriate teams + Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding prescription orders Quality & Compliance + Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies + Support pharmacy quality improvement initiatives + Maintain accurate documentation within pharmacy systems Required Qualifications + PTCB Certification + Active registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (proof required before hire) + High School Diploma or GED + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities + Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications + Previous pharmacy data entry experience + Experience handling patient or provider calls + Basic algebra or dosage calculation skills + Client-facing phone support experience Pay Details: $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
