Minimum Qualifications Minimum Education: Bacheloru2019s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or relevant experience in lieu of education. Minimum Experience: At least 2-3 years of research experience in a clinical, public health, or academic setting. Prior experience with IRB submissions, research compliance, and participant recruitment preferred. Skills and Certifications: Proficient in REDCap and Excel. Strong knowledge of research regulations, study design, and clinical workflows. Excellent writing, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. General knowledge of research fields. CITI training. Preferred Qualifications Masteru2019s degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field strongly preferred. Job Duties Description of Job Duty Key Responsibilities: + Patient Enrollment: Engage with patients in-person across multiple locations to enroll them in clinical research studies. + Research Administration: Manage submissions to the Institutional Review Board ( IRB ), oversee communication with the IRB , and assist with data entry and administrative research tasks. + Grant and Manuscript Support: Assist in grant preparation and submission, as well as manuscript preparation and editing for publication. + Shadowing & Clinical Exposure Opportunity: Spend time shadowing Dr. M. Griffin. In-person attendance at weekly clinics to enroll patients and participate in the care of patients. Job Duties: Research Coordination & Project Management u00b7 Coordinate multiple clinical and community-based research projects across partner sites (e.g., Grady, FQHCs, MSM clinics). u00b7 Manage timelines, deliverables, and meeting schedules; proactively identify and resolve barriers to project progress. u00b7 Support executive-level decision-making by synthesizing project updates, tracking milestones, and preparing summary reports. u00b7 Maintain communication with investigators, research teams, and community partners to ensure study fidelity and compliance. Regulatory & Administrative Management u00b7 Prepare, submit, and track IRB applications, continuing reviews, and modifications. u00b7 Ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in research involving human subjects. u00b7 Assist with protocol development, study start-up, and sponsor or site communications. Data Collection & Management u00b7 Coordinate participant enrollment and data collection during clinical encounters. u00b7 Enter, verify, and manage research data in REDCap or other secure databases. u00b7 Monitor data quality and completeness; conduct preliminary data analyses and summaries for manuscripts or reports. u00b7 Maintain confidentiality and data security in compliance with institutional and federal policies. Grant & Manuscript Development u00b7 Conduct targeted literature reviews, compile citations, and summarize evidence for research proposals. u00b7 Assist in the preparation of grant applications, including budget justifications, biosketches, and supporting documentation. u00b7 Contribute to manuscript drafting, editing, and submission for peer-reviewed publications. u00b7 Track deadlines and coordinate submission logistics across teams. Clinical & Community Engagement u00b7 Engage directly with patients and families for study recruitment and follow-up across multiple clinical sites. u00b7 Participate in clinic sessions to identify eligible participants, coordinate consent, and support integrated research workflows. u00b7 Liaise with community partners and patient navigators to facilitate equitable participant engagement and retention. Strategic and Executive Support u00b7 Assist the Medical Director with strategic planning, meeting preparation, and project tracking. u00b7 Create executive summaries, briefing materials, and presentations for leadership, funders, or academic meetings. u00b7 Maintain an organized digital and administrative system for CMHE clinical research activities, deadlines, and deliverables. u00b7 Provide professional support to ensure efficiency in decision-making and execution of CMHEu2019s mission and vision.
