FTE: 0.900000 Standard Hours: 36.00 Shift: Shift 2 Shift Details:PM during weekdays/ NOC on weekend Holidays: as assigned in rotationWeekends: every third weekend 1900-0730 12CFAC is a 32-bedpost-abdominal surgical floor, specializing in surgical oncology,bariatrics and general surgery, and colorectal surgery. 12CFAC was builtin 2019 with spacious rooms and layout, natural light, an impressivetherapy gym, and great views of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee as the top floorof Froedtert Hospital. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is apractitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing,and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in aninpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency indelivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatientjob description has incorporated essential functions which are adaptedfrom the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition(2010). EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence and experience inthe care and management of target patient populations specific to areaof employment. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursingtheory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion ofeducation at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible forlicensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Upon hire any non-BSN nursewith less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience will berequired to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program.Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 months of hire and thedegree program must be completed within 5 years of enrollment, or 6years if program is MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing. Bachelor's Degree inNursing is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current state ofWisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License froma participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
