CDL Roll Off Driver

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Roll Off Driver F.J.A. ChristiansenRoofing Co., Inc., a Tecta America Company, is Milwaukee's premiercommercial roofing contractor, delivering dependable service andhigh-quality solutions since 1879. We specialize in commercial,industrial, and institutional roofing, including roof replacements,re-roofs, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, coatings,and custom sheet metal fabrication. Position Summary: The Roll OffDriver position is responsible for responding to crews and customers inneed of roll off dumpster pick-up and delivery. Jobs Functions: Drives aroll off dumpster to and from job sites, customer locations, andlandfill. Assists with operating the dump trucks as necessary. Assistswith the organization and cleanliness of warehouse, parking areas, andall the yard property rented or owned by Tecta America. Maintaininventory of dumpsters. Communicate daily with superintendents by 3:30pm each day to prepare needs for the following workday. Assist crew withload securement, as necessary. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Exceptional attendance Safe work practices Organizational skillsCustomer service skills. Previous experience operating a roll off.Previous construction experience preferred. Valid Driver's License:Commercial Class B CDL (Commercial Class A CDL preferred). HazmatEndorsement DOT requirements and clean driving record Must be able tocommunicate in English both verbally and in writing. Bilingual inSpanish preferred. Occupational Health and Safety: Compliance withworkplace policies and procedures for risk identification, riskassessment and risk control Active participation in activitiesassociated with the management of workplace health and safetyIdentification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents,incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace WorkingConditions: Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure toheights, noise and temperature. Ability to work outdoors in extremeweather conditions, both hot and cold and in windy conditions.
