FTE: 0.6875 Standard Hours: 27.50 Shift: Shift 2 Monday-Friday1130-2000, Saturday/Sunday 0800-1600, 7 days on 7 day off, responsiblefor every holiday that falls on the week on (B week) Job Summary: Comejoin a great working environment with team-oriented coworkers and adynamic rotation of engaging, challenging workspaces At the directionof a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performsimaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnosticstudies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols whileutilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres toorganizational customer service standards and supports theorganizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effectiveinteraction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas asnecessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalitiesand meets the requirements of advanced certification: CT, and DiagnosticX-ray. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year ofcurrent clinical experience in each modality is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accreditedRadiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years ofcollege/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in ahealthcare related field is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRTregistered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer isrequired. Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Densitywithin 18 month of hire/transfer is required. American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
