This role will be supporting ourChicago market but open to a fully remote candidate. How you willcontribute: This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your organizationand communication skills while overseeing project design progressionfrom inception to completion including design, permits, as-builts, andoperations and maintenance manuals. This position will develop acomprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets and participatein team and on-site progress meetings. Understand and follow allpublished codes, standards, and unique project specifications whileensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed. The ability tomulti-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence todeadlines will be crucial in this role. You will be challenged to excelbeyond your expectations in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.What you need to qualify: Ahern will make the most of your 3-5 years'experience in the design of fire alarms or low-voltage systems. Previousexperience working in Revit and AutoCAD is required. You can stand outabove other candidates by having prior large project design experience,specifically in data centers. A commitment to providing exceptionalcustomer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge and beingable pre-plan and execute tasks with a great amount of detail will becrucial. NICET Certification preferred. Experience with Navisworks,Revizto, or other BIM tools is preferred. What's in it for you?
