University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Surgery: Surgery: Oncology Salary Range or Pay Grade $325,000 - $400,000 Description The Department of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital, located in Rochester, NY seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Division of Surgical Oncology. Faculty will be eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. Desirable candidates will possess a strong commitment to patient care and resident education. It is expected that candidateu2019s primary location of practice will be at several regional hospitals in the University of Rochester system. The candidateu2019s practice will focus on cutaneous and soft tissue tumors as well as breast and endocrine tumors. There is an opportunity to manage some gastrointestinal cancers at Strong Memorial Hospital. Strong Memorial Hospital is an 886-bed tertiary care academic medical center. Qualifications Candidates must have completed medical school receiving an MD or equivalent and completed a full surgical training residency program. Candidates must be BE/BC in general surgery and have completed a Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship. Must be eligible for a full NYS medical license.
