Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to oversee and execute the full accounts payable cycle in our Sharonville, Ohio office. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in processing invoices, verifying costs, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing key tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Manage timely payments to vendors, including check runs and electronic transfers. u2022 Collaborate with accounting team members to address discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries. u2022 Accurately code invoices and allocate expenses to appropriate accounts. u2022 Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit and reporting purposes. u2022 Reconcile accounts payable balances and address any outstanding issues. u2022 Monitor and enforce adherence to payment terms and company guidelines. u2022 Assist in month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable. u2022 Communicate effectively with vendors to maintain positive working relationships. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable workflow. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. u2022 Proficiency in invoice coding and processing. u2022 Familiarity with check runs and payment procedures. u2022 Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. u2022 Excellent communication skills for resolving vendor inquiries. u2022 Knowledge of accounting software and systems. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven setting.
