We're Hiring a Solutions Sales Representative in Sacramento, CA Job Summary: The Solutions Outside Sales Representative is a position responsible for leading complex sales projects in the water industry. This role involves identifying and pursuing high value sales opportunities, conducting sales presentations, completing site visits and preliminary system design and developing strategies to improve sales performance. The Outside Sales Representative works closely with cross functional teams to develop business, address customer needs, implement corrective actions, and sell complex water movement systems. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and training junior sales staff and providing technical expertise to support continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development u2022 Identify and develop new business opportunities u2022 Build and maintain relationships with clients u2022 Create and implement sales strategies u2022 Meet and exceed sales targets u2022 Conduct market research and analysis Account Management u2022 Manage and grow existing client accounts u2022Schedule meetings and present to client decision makers u2022 Provide excellent customer service and support u2022 Upsell and cross sell products and services u2022 Address and resolve any client concerns or issues u2022 Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and sales activities Product Knowledge and Marketing u2022 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge u2022 Promote and educate clients on new products and services u2022 Participate in trade shows and events to promote company and products Administrative Tasks u2022 Manage and maintain CRM database u2022 Usage of portfolio planning resources to find new opportunities u2022 Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and presentations u2022 Monitor and track sales expenses and budgets High Impact Behaviors: u2022 Continuous Professional Development: Professionals should be committed to lifelong learning, seeking out opportunities for self-improvement, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. u2022 Collaboration and Teamwork: Effective professionals understand the value of collaboration. Qualifications: + Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce , CRM systems). u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.u2022 Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.u2022 Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.u2022 Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Travel requirement: Regular in-region travel plus occasional overnight stays for sales and training purposes. Local Travel requirement at 50% + Abacheloru2019s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with at least 4years experienceor equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and conceptsof industrial water movement . + Knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulic, pneumatics, water flow, in related field of pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications. + Ability to meet and continuously maintain authorization to operate a company vehicle.
