As a Superintendent, you are responsible for the overalldirection of field operations, completion schedules, labor & cost budgetoutcome, safety, and quality of your project. You will lead and motivateall Findorff field personnel and subcontractors on the jobsite to bringthe project to a successful completion for our clients. You are key inestablishing a positive, effective and collaborative work relationshipwith field crews, project management, owners, architects, andsubcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule project,including short interval schedules. Schedule manpower and determine crewsizes based on the estimates and project schedule. Lead Foreman Meetingsand contribute to pre-job/pre-task planning and post job meetings.Monitor job progress by managing subcontractors, solving problems, usingproper documentation, implementing quality & safety control techniqueson the job. Influence and oversee delivery results through effectiveleadership and collaboration Generate clear, concise, and appropriateRFI's in a timely manner. Manage project costs by weekly evaluation oflabor, material, and equipment costs. Demonstrate superior constructionprocess knowledge. Ensure customer satisfaction by recognizing andmeeting all the client's needs. Provide leadership through teambuilding communications, motivation, confidence, good judgment andactive listening. Manage and mentor other Findorff leaders and fieldpersonnel. Ensure that all parties understand the importance of safetyon the project and follow OSHA requirements. Take measures to improveproduction, reduce waste, and improve quality. Foster positiverelationships with Owners, Architects, and colleagues throughcommunication and project updates. Education & Experience: 8-12 years ofexperience managing commercial projects valued up to $80M. 5 years ofexperience as a Superintendent or Supervisor leading commercialprojects. Proven ground up construction experience. Strong background inself performed trades and concrete fundamentals. Travel: Opportunitiesto travel outside of Wisconsin with our clients.
