ValidDriver's License. Experience with a pumper truck or similarroute-based service vehicle preferred, but not required. Previouswaste industry preferred, but not required. Must be able todemonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate theequipment. The hiring event in Monona, WI on Thursday, March 19th isfrom 8am - 12pm and again from 2pm - 4pm looking to make on-site offersIf you are interested in attending, please apply today and bring yourupdated resume Key Responsibilities: Operate a pumper truck, ancillaryequipment and pumping system to service and/or clean porta let units ona specified route. Load and unload equipment on trucks and trailers.Unload collected waste at disposal locations. Operate truck andequipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-inducedmechanical failures. Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety laneinspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and otherdocumentation requested by supervisor daily. Communicate vehiclemechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. Maintainroute quality standards as predetermined by management. Follow allsafety standards and equipment checks and precautions in performance ofall duties. Comply with all federal, state/provincial, local and companyrules on safety and vehicle operation. Maintain clean vehicle bycleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle. Ensure that all requiredpersonal protective equipment be worn at all times (i.e., gloves,reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.) Report all accidentsor incidents to supervisor(s) immediately Exhibit a professionaldemeanor, manner and appearance at all times (i.e., meeting customersand/or the general public while on route or in uniform.) Maintainaccurate records of services performed.
