Join our team as the Aquatics Coordinator and lead the daily operations, staff, and safety protocols of the City of Billings municipal swimming pools. Flexible. 7 days a week with potential weekend and evening work.Preferred Dates: May 1, 2026 -- September 6, 2026.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:u2022 Oversee comprehensive daily pool operations and facility management across locations.u2022 Lead the scheduling, training, supervision, and professional development of all aquatic staff.u2022 Ensure rigorous adherence to pool safety standards, health codes, and city policies.u2022 Manage mechanical operations, chemical balancing, and facility oversight.u2022 Serve as the primary point of contact for public relations and complex guest concerns.u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for staff and patrons.u2022 Work collaboratively with Recreation leadership to hit seasonal programming goals.u2022 Provide expert-level care and elite customer service to the Billings community.Minimum Qualifications & Skills:u2022 Previous experience in aquatic management or as a Head Lifeguard required.u2022 American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED certifications required.u2022 Must meet minimum age requirements.u2022 Exceptional leadership and communication skills.u2022 Proven ability to manage large teams and oversee complex pool operations.u2022 Unwavering commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.u2022 Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.u2022 LGI (Lifeguard Instructor) or CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.Apply Today If you're ready to lead with professionalism, responsibility, and enthusiasm, apply today to become our Aquatics Coordinator.
