(Comscore, Total Visits, March 2025) Day to Day As a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will serve as a high-impact individual contributor responsible for the strategy and execution of Indeedu2019s most technologically advanced partnerships in the U.S. You will lead our expansion into the AI landscape by identifying and closing deals with LLM providers to accelerate our AI evolution. You will work in lockstep with Product and Corporate Development to identify and drive strategic partnerships that directly support our long-term company vision and strategic roadmap. You will navigate the intersection of business strategy and technical innovation, negotiating complex deals that ensure Indeed remains the leader in AI-powered recruitment. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and Corp Dev to bridge the gap between external AI capabilities and Indeedu2019s internal product roadmap. Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Execution + Complex Negotiations: Lead end-to-end negotiations for enterprise-level agreements, including bespoke deal frameworks, data-sharing models, and complex legal/compliance structures. + Accelerate Product Innovation: Identify and secure partnerships that enable Product teams to launch faster, reduce costs, and unlock new capabilities that would be difficult to build internally. + LLM & AI Sourcing: Lead the exploration and negotiation of deals with LLM providers, ensuring Indeed has the external technology needed to power our AI-first roadmap. Strategic Experimentation & Data Insights + Rapid Prototyping and Data-Driven Insights : Support high-speed strategic experimentation by leveraging partners to test new concepts before committing to a full-scale internal development cycle. Collaborate with internal teams to identify instances where a partnership can deliver quick, high-utility data to validate market hypotheses. Cross-Functional Collaboration + Strategic Advisory: Act as a key advisor to Product leadership on when a partnership is accelerative, transformative, or more cost-effective than an internal build. + Market Mapping: Maintain a real-time pulse on the AI and Analytics ecosystem to surface M&A or partnership targets that align with our company-wide goals. + Advocacy: Communicate partnership progress and strategic pivots effectively to Indeedu2019s Senior Leadership Team. Skills/Competencies + Experience: A minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bacheloru2019s degree; or 8 years and a Masteru2019s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements. + AI/Technical Depth: Proven track record of managing technical partnerships involving LLMs, APIs, or complex data integrations. Comfortable engaging in deep-dive discussions about LLM tokens, system latency, API architecture, and data flows. + Deal-Making: Demonstrable experience structuring and closing complex enterprise partnerships that involve significant legal and technical scrutiny. + Industry Knowledge: Experience in SaaS, HR Tech, or a highly technical AdTech/MarTech environment is preferred. + Significant, demonstrable experience structuring, negotiating, influencing the legal documents that govern complex enterprise technology partnerships; ability to navigate within legal approval structure of both Indeed and partners' organizations + Ability to solve complex business problems with a consulting style mindsetu2014mapping partnership capabilities to Indeedu2019s long-term business outcomes and ability to use data and financial modeling to justify partnership investments. + Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present high-stakes strategic recommendations to Senior VPs and C-suite leaders.
