EVDT Test Engineer

Job Description u2022 You will participates on a project team of engineers involved in the design, development, and testing of state of the art hardware for the Service Provider Business Unit Cisco 8000 product line. u2003u2022 May be responsible for the end to end test execution of a program from concept commit into sustaining. u2003u2022 Will execute complex unit and system level testing, debug, isolate, and provide failure analysis. u2003u2022 Will help facilitate the root cause, resolution, and closure of issues. u2003u2022 Will regularly collaborate with Diagnostics, Software & Power/Thermal/Hardware Engineering, Mfg Engineering and support various hardware unit characterization requests. u2003u2003u25cb This includes Signal Integrity SERDES verification, thermal and power captures, diagnostics and IOS- XR image validation, Pilot Firmware Bundle Testing, Optical Module and Interface validations. u2003u2022 May author or modify automation TCL/Unix scripts as well as configure complex network topologies using Cisco Hardware.
