About the role We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator who is a proactive and detail-oriented professional, passionate about continuously improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform. This role requires deep expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in a healthcare clearinghouse environment and familiar with its business processes. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will help coordinate the workload of the Salesforce Admin team, ensuring timely resolution of requests and issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable researching, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and resolve complex challenges, and effectively communicate outcomes. In this role, you will: + Administer and configure Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions. + Manage and prioritize the workload of the Salesforce Admin team. + Research, test, and implement new features to enhance system performance and user experience. + Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate cross-functional resolutions. + Maintain data integrity, security settings, and user access controls. + Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices; recommend improvements. + Perform bulk record creation/updates using Data Loader. + Build custom reports, dashboards, and report types. + Create and maintain documentation for administrative and business processes. + Install, configure, and manage third-party apps from the AppExchange. + Manage user setup, deactivation, permissions, profiles, and role hierarchy. + Work within an Agile methodology to gather requirements, groom and write user stories, test, demo, and deploy from sandbox to production. + Participate in production deployments using CI/CD or other deployment methods. + Address end-user enhancement requests and break/fix issues via case queue. + Support multifactor authentication for internal and Experience Cloud users. + Create, troubleshoot, and update automation (e.g., flows, email alerts). + Create and update objects, fields, picklists, record types, page layouts, and Lightning Record Pages. + Support business applications such as Pardot, Distribution Engine, and other third-party tools. What you need to have to be considered + 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience. + Strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. + Experience in a healthcare clearinghouse environment is highly preferred. + Solid understanding of healthcare business processes and workflows. + Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus. These will help you stand out + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools. The annual salary for this position is between $67,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
