Job Details Job ID: 5580782 Job Description Coach - HS Head Girls Flag Football - 2025-2026 (Appendix II - 1 per school) CONTRACT LENGTH: Sport Season STIPEND: $3,473.00 POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for guiding and directing students in a successful unified flag football program at the high school level. IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director School Principal Duties and Responsibilities (include but may not be limited to): + Oversees the administration of the High Schoolu2019s Unified Flag Football team which is composed of a proportional number of students with disabilities and students without disabilities. + Liaison regularly with the schoolu2019s Athletic Director and Special Olympics to ensure quality program standards are being met and policies are being followed. + Develop and implement practice plans in which track and field event instruction is provided toall participants. There are a minimum of two practices each week. + Organize and lead all practice sessions with the recruitment and support of Assistant Coaches. + Impart the philosophy of a positive inclusive sports experience by following the principles of Unified Sports. + Plan and manage competition strategies for individuals and the team at games. + Recruit students with intellectual disabilities, students with other types of disabilities, and students without disabilities for the team. + Handle all paperwork requirements and forms required by the school district and Special Olympics. + If serving as a host site for a game, recruit and train volunteers to manage the event. + Attend any appropriate training in your county and complete the Special Olympics Unified Sports Coachesu2019 course.
