Global Procurement Specialist - IT

Description Location: Houston (preferred), Dallas, Austin / San Antonio Work Model: Predominantly remote Hybrid as needed Role Overview We are seeking a Global Procurement Specialist u2013 IT on a contractu2011tou2011hire basis to support enterpriseu2011wide IT procurement. This role sits within a global procurement function that manages highu2011impact, organizationu2011wide IT contracts and licensing. The ideal candidate has strong IT procurement experience, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, global environment. Key Responsibilities + Manage the full IT procurement lifecycle, including reviewing, negotiating, and redlining IT contracts + Support largeu2011scale, highu2011volume IT agreements and vendor relationships + Lead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs + Negotiate favorable commercial terms focused on cost savings and risk mitigation + Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contract alignment and compliance + Maintain contract and vendor documentation and support governance activities + Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and regulations Team & Environment + Work closely with one other procurement team member + Additional procurement hire underway in London + Global collaboration requires flexibility outside traditional business hours Requirements + 5+ years of IT procurement experience (5+ preferred) + Strong experience with IT contracts and vendor management + Experience supporting complex, highu2011volume agreements + No legal background required + Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Location & Work Setup + Texas preferred: Houston (ideal), Dallas, Austin / San Antonio + Must be near a regional office + Candidates outside Texas considered but not ideal + Central Time Zone strongly preferred Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
