In this role, you’ll manage the division’s construction schedules, keep information flowing clearly between teams, and help drive on?time, high?quality results. If you thrive in a fast?paced environment and enjoy bringing structure and clarity to moving parts, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Scheduling & CoordinationPartner with field teams, office staff, and vendors to coordinate construction schedules across all communities.Communicate schedule updates and changes to Project Managers, Sales Managers, and trade partners.Coordinate buyer selections, option appointments, plotting, and spec starts with Sales and Studio teams.Determine and schedule start dates, cutoff dates, work orders, and permit-required dates for each lot.Submit Division Starts Requests for Regional President approval.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain and distribute key division reports, including PC Mylar, Milestone, Cutoff Calendars, Mini 555, Under Construction, Unified Lots, Ahead/Behind, and Starts Needed.Update and share Evenflow Starts Tracking, Stalled Lots, authorized start lists, and other required weekly/daily reports.Ensure vendor assignments and sequence numbers remain accurate and up to date.Provide updated schedules and status reports to Superintendents and Construction Managers.Create additional reports as requested by leadership and maintain scheduling updates related to IT, Purchasing, Construction, and new projects.Permit TrackingCoordinate with Project Managers and Permit Runners to track permit submissions and receipts.Enter all permit?related data into the scheduling system.High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)Prior office experience with strong computer and typing skillsExperience in homebuilding, construction, or customer service (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationshipsClear, professional verbal and written communicationA proactive, action?oriented approach with a focus on completing tasks efficientlyCustomer?centric mindset with a solutions?focused approachAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and incorporate feedbackComfort working in a fast?paced environment with varying personalitiesWork 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessaryConduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the companyThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.Ability to move about work location.Ability to drive/travel as needed to tour KB Home communities.Ability to walk up and down stairs.Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio). Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales).Position is located on-site at the division office. #LI-onsiteKB Home offers a competitive base pay. The expected range for this position is based on experience and is noted below, paid semi-monthly. Other rewards may include bonuses or role-specific awards.
