Learn more about who we are: www.scbconstructiongroup.comWhat We OfferCompetitive salary.Health Insurance-SCB pays $400.401(k) match up to 4%.$100 phone allowance.Fast-growing career advancement.Vacation leave, holiday pay, sick pay, maternity/paternity.2-hour drive or less to SCB-prefer, however, not stopper.100% in office.Company truck with fuel card.Small “Family” feel.?️ What You’ll DoProject Planning & Preconstruction:Assist with project concept development on design-build projects.Review project specifications, plans, and contracts.Develop project timelines and budgets.Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and consultants.Secure permits and coordinate preconstruction activities.Construction Management: Collaborate with field operations to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and SCB crews.Maintain construction schedules, identify and mitigate delays, and ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.Financial Oversight:Track and maintain project budgets, control costs, and review/approve change orders and pay applications.Prepare financial reports and provide accurate forecasting to stakeholders.Client and Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.Conduct regular site visits and status meetings.Manage expectations through clear, proactive communication.Risk and Safety Management:Collaborate with field operations to ensure all SCB and OSHA safety standards are followed.Identify and address potential safety risks early to keep the job moving safely and efficiently.Leadership & Team Development:Mentor assistant project managers and field staff.Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, transparency, problem-solving, and professional growth.Sense of Urgency:Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all tasks, proactively driving schedules, decisions, and follow-through to keep projects moving forward.✅ What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.Demonstrate a strong desire to complete all tasks with a consistent sense of urgency.Proficient in project management software (Sage, Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend, etc).Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.Must be able to travel to job sites and work extended hours as needed.Must reside within a one-hour commute of our Covington office.May have to travel some to job sites in surrounding states, 2- 3 days/overnight a month possible.USD $90,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
