Compensation is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports management and leadershipHandle all administrative duties in a timely mannerMaking patient appointments and checking in patientsScheduling procedures and testingOrdering supplies and maintaining inventoryEMR (Electronic Medical Record) data entryConfirm insurance benefits as noted on the patient's chartCommunicating with patients about their weight loss journey through emails, phone calls, Zoom calls, and face-to-face conversationsManaging patient accounts with contact information, insurance, and financial information in a confidential mannerScheduling patient visits and answering questions, including billing and weight loss journey from start to finishCoordinating all surgical procedures for patients and communicating with medical facilities such as hospitals and ambulatory surgery centersEnsuring services comply with state and federal regulatory requirementsPerform other job-related duties as assignedSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with patients and the health care teamPeople skills to connect emotionally with patientsAbility to work independently and as a team memberTeamwork to coordinate with Doctors and other healthcare personnelGood attitude, professionalism, promote team structure.Demonstrates ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrating knowledge of schedulingStrong organization with attention to detailBilingual (Spanish) preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in healthcare administration or other related fieldsExperience in either Patient Experience or Customer ServiceStrong organizational skillsInsurance verification experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills
