Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.We are seeking a driven and experiencedOperations Managerlocated inSapulpa, Oklahoma,to lead daily production operations at our aluminum recycling facility. This roleis responsible for overseeing production, safety, quality, and team leadership to ensure efficient plant performance and continuous improvement.We are looking for an Operations Manager with industrial environmental experience preferably experience supervising in a heavy industrial setting with knowledge of large mobile equipment, managing operational KPI's and developing employees with best training and performance goals.Drive and develop the culture of Safety FirstDevelop and mentor supervisors and team leaders to strengthen leadership capability within the plantDirect plantproduction operations, and establish priorities in keeping witheffective operationsandcost factorsEstablish, plan, direct, and supportproduction priorities and schedule activitiesLead change management initiatives and help drive operational improvements across the facilityDevelop and implementoperating methods and proceduresdesigned to meet and/or exceed KPI'sDevelopment and implementation ofimprovement actionplans for each area of responsibility to ensure year-over-year improvement in critical plant metrics.The Operations Managerwill inspire staff to achieve results in alignment with company and business strategy as well as operational objectives focused on safety, health and environment, quality, productivity, inventory, people development, and employee engagement.Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in business, operations management, engineeringMinimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing operations role with three years managerial experience, preferably heavy industrialWorking knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools preferredSolid understanding of Change Management tools and concepts preferredThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
