One CaliforniaPerforms general clerical duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the assigned pharmacy. Work includes (but is not limited to) activities such as: stocking prescription and OTC medications, stocking non-pharmaceutical items for sale, medication delivery, answering phones, and performing charge and credit functions. Other duties may include, in accordance with state law, typing prescriptionlabels, filing, entering information into a computer system, and may label drugs for subsequent use in dispensing operations.State Board of Pharmacy or Certification Pharmacy Tech requiredAny combination of experience and education that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilitiesAbility to understand and follow routine to moderately complex verbal instructions and to maintain confidentiality of informationProficient in English with the ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.Strong proficiency with all standard office equipment and automated systems/applications/software, and knowledge of modern office practices within a retail pharmacy environment.Knowledge of basic medical terminology and abbreviations preferredCapable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position.
